Watch a 7-week-old baby hear mom's voice for the first time with the help of hearing aids

On this video, a very emotional moment showing a 7-week-old baby hears his parents’ voices for the first time after getting hearing aids.

This baby is named Lachlan. He was diagnosed with moderate-to-severe hearing loss in both ears at birth.

His parents are Toby and Michelle Lever of Victoria, Australia.

When the hearing aids were placed into his ear canals, he seems somewhat irritated and unhappy. But his mood starts to change once his mother and father, Michelle and Tobv talk to him.

Lachlan's face is filled with big smiles and his eyes widened when he hears the voices of his parents for the first time. His reaction brought his parents into tears of happiness.

Lachlan's first hearing aids aged 7 weeks old. Our gorgeous baby boy.

This video was first uploaded by Michelle Lever in Facebook back on November 18, 2012, which now has over 300,000 likes and 400,000 shares.

It made its way in YouTube last August 31, 2014, and now has over 1.6 million views and counting in just a short period of time.

Lachlan is now 2 years old and according to Times, he worked with the therapists at Taralye “the oral language centre for deaf children,” in Blackburn Victoria, Australia.

His mother, Michelle, told Daily Mail Australia:
I am so happy that we can share our magic moment with the world.

I hope it can give some other families the realisation everything is going to be okay.

I want them to realise that there is alot of support and help available to them.
