Saneie came from a traditional family that is strictly implementing their tradition, so when he was asked by his ancestors to get marry in 2013, he willingly fulfilled the wishes and married a 62-year-old woman. They believe that it was a sacred message from the heaven.
Helen Shabangu, 62 years old, was the chosen bride for the kid. She's more than 5 times older and she is also legally married with 5 children aged between 28 and 38.
Saneie being the youngest groom down the history made a buzz all over the world after his first wedding in 2013.
The villagers believe that the last ceremony is more of a "sickening" one. So in July 2014, the couple once again vows in front of them to make it "official".
The husband of Helen, who is 66 years old, was present in both first and second wedding ceremonies and doesn't care what other people said and how they interpreted the marriage. He also stated that their own familyl is happy with the event and there's no problem if his wife marries a little boy.
The toddler's mother said that they decided to do this just because they don't want to defy their ancestors and they want to make their wishes come true. This event costs for a total of $1,300.
Saneie was never embarrassed marrying a 62-year-old lady. It was just to strictly follow the traddition. The newlyweds will neither live nor sleep together under the same roof. After the ceremony, everything will be back to normal like nothing happened.
The odd couple did not sign any marriage certificate and both first and second weddings have no legal effect.
