Kid working decently by selling bread got robbed, took all his hard earned money

MANILA -- A hardworking Filipino kid who was out in the streets to sell salt bread (pandesal) for some money was robbed by an unidentified villain and took away all his profit for that day.

The amateur Facebook video was uploaded originally by Christopher Pacheco which instantly pooled the attention of the netizens because of what the suspect did is heartless.

According to the flow of the story on the comment section, the kid lives in Reform 168, Deparo, Caloocan. One commentor adds, "Napakasipag pa naman nang batang yan. Doble kayod po talaga sya" (this kid is very diligent and he works as twice as he could.) He is a 6th grader.

The victim sells "pandesal" around the area. The incident happened in Deparo near a convenient store where he was allegedly robbed by a guy who was yet to be identified. His money worth P200 or roughly $5 was taken and left him in shock state.

His whole body was trembling while he was being comforted by the people in the area who helped him. Someone gave him water and others compensated the stolen money.

The original uploaded video captioned: Kawawang bata nagtitinda lang ng pandesal dinukutan pa ng mama ..hoy hoy hoy!!!mamang kolokoy maghanap buhay ka naman ng marangal!!!! (Poor kid...He only sells salt bread yet he got robbed...Hey hey hey!!! Whoever did this, try to get some decent job!!!)



UPDATE: Kid's information was released. He is Mark Christian ‘Kokey’ Santos and he lives at Reform 168, Deparo, Caloocan.



Christopher Pacheco, the concerned citizen who took the video, updated his status and said that the kid and his parents are very thankful to those people who helped.
“Pinararating po ng magulang ng bata at ng bata na si mark christian(kokey) santos ang kanilang taos pusong pasasalamat sa inyong pagtulong….”
