iPhone 6 and 6 Plus Drop Test

The latest models of iPhone are now out in the market, but before buying we want to make sure that we’ve done all are home works like watching this iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Drop Test video.

This test was performed by David Rahimi of PhoneBuff.

On this video, you will find out how durable are Apple’s latest smartphone.

Both sides as well as the front and back of the new iPhone 6 and 6 Plus underwent drop testing with the help of a platform to help insure more accurate and more consistent drops.

It was started dropping facing the back of the smaller version of the newest smartphone model which resulted to barely minimal damage, almost nothing at all.

This was followed by the iPhone 6 Plus drop test, back first. The result was nothing like happened.

And the test was taken to the next level; the side drop test. This was basically dropping the phones on the floor with their sides first.

A not-so-good news happened due to the screen of iPhone 6 Plus shattered during the side drop, but still functional.

So a pretty significant damage was obtained by the 6 Plus on that side test, but the show must go on. This time, it’s the iPhone 6 front drop test.

The result was terrible. The screen shattered and small pieces went all over the place as per the slow motion of this film.

Notice that once these new models of Apple’s iPhone got screen damage, it looks like they’re coming apart from the body.

Now, the final verdict. Both the new smartphone models of Apple, iPhone 6 and 6 Plus technically failed this drop test.
