When she managed to advance in semi-finals, she performed another OPM classic song "Pangarap Na Bituin".

Her full name is Lyca Jane Gairanod, 9 years old, residing in Amaya, Tanza Cavite, Philippines. Her father is a fisherman and her mother is a housewife taking care of her siblings.
She likes to do the laundry because she doesn't want her siblings to wear dirty clothes and so no one can bully them saying that they are not taking a bath.
At her young age, she is helping her parents by collecting scrap materials and selling it to be recycled so that they can support their daily food allowance.
In an interview with her, she stated that she joined the competition for a sole reason of bringing her family out of poverty line. She also told that their home is located in the coastal area.
She's dedicating her singing for her family.
