Singer and Television host Billy Crawford was arrested and detained after he went berserk in a police station in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig on Sunday, September 7, 2014.
According to GMA News TV's "News TV Live," this incident around 4 a.m. at Police Community Precinct 7.
Initial investigation was conducted which showed that Crawford and his companion was asking for an assistance.
He then allegedly punched the desk officer when he was told he needed to come to to police headquarters. Crawford, however, later denied this allegation and said that there was no physical altercation with a police desk officer.
"It was my fault pero wala akong nasaktan, wala akong tinulak, wala akong tinamaan kundi 'yung salamin," -Billy said during a radio interview.
Senior Superintendent Arthur Asis was interviewed at the Taguig police headquarters where he said that Crawford was "under custody."
In that same interview, Crawford apologized to the police officers and his fans for the incident.
His berserk went too far to the point that the he broke the glass door of the police station into pieces. This led to his arrest and he was handcuffed by the help of additional policemen.
Multiple charges filed against the "It's Showtime" host Billy Crawford such as direct assault, malicious mischief, and resisting arrest and disobedience to authority, as per Police Community Precinct 7 commander, Inspector Jonathan Aribe.
