LA UNION, Philippines - Another story that will prove that 'honesty is the best policy' when a Filipino jeepney driver was not blinded by wealth.
Tommy Lasoy went to a public comfort room and found a pouch with a P1 million check in it. The owner was identified as Emiliana Mariano Almoza as per the postal ID inserted in the pouch.
According to the respective owner of that check, it was a payment for the house and lot that she just sold.
Emiliana's family member also said that she was victimized by a syndicate group called "Budol Budol Gang" and stole her pouch away.
Luckily, the good citizen, Tommy, recovered the check and other stuffs of Emiliana.
