Joseph Davidovits, a French chemist who says that he has unlocked the secrets of how the pyramids are constructed. Davidovits asserts that: The building blocks for the megaliths were not lavishly cut and hauled; they were simply cast on the spot. Who cast the pyramids? He claimed it was the workers trained as alchemists.
Joseph Davidovits had a theory for the construction of the ancient megaliths. In 1974, he revealed his theory to the press at Agence France-Presse.
According to him:
We should forget the images of laborers straining with ropes to pull stones on wooden sleds. Ancient workers understood stone chemistry well enough to transform stone into the plastic-like compound. Why would ancient craftsmen haul massive building blocks for miles away and painstakingly cut them when they would mold rock on the spot? The Egyptians, after all, knew enough food chemistry to make wine, beer, and vinegar. Their embalming technology is clear proof of their sophisticated knowledge of body chemistry. And judging from the fire glazes that adorn their pottery, they were not novices to materials chemistry, either. Couldn’t they and others have mastered simple steps of agglomerating stones?
Davidovits wondered why, for example, are there no murals of the time showing the ramps and inclined planes on which the blocks are painstakingly dragged? The oldest mural that depicts workers dragging a statue was dated 800 years after the construction. How could the early Egyptians have made ramps smooth enough for workers to drag blocks with ease? Any smooth ramp for workers would have to larger than the pyramid itself.
All these questions lead him to believe that pyramid stones were manmade or artificial. Instead of dragging blocks in ramps and rope, he believed that Egyptian workers could have carried buckets full of limestone concoction with solution alkaline, aluminum, salts and silicon binder. They could ’ve dumped the concoction into wooden casts. A few hours the desert heat would do the job to turn the mixture into rock. This would explain how each 2.5-ton casing block is perfectly fit as it laid close to the next: After one block dried, it formed a mold for the next.
