Homeless Construction Worker Returned A Wallet With P41,000

VICTORIAS, NEGROS OCCIDENTAL - Leonardo Panggo, a homeless carpenter, found a wallet with P41,000 inside of it but decided to look for its rightful owner.

He cooperated with the local authorities only to find out that the rightful owner of the wallet filled with cash is a barangay captain.

Panggo said that he never had an intention to keep it in the first place as he knows what is not his.

He and his family have no decent home to stay but this not let Leonardo to think of using the money he found for the betterment of their life situation, instead he wanted to give it back to its rightful owner.

As per the report of ABS-CBN's morning news segment Umagang Kay Ganda, Panggo and his family are currently residing in a barangay councilman's house but only temporary.

Due to his good deed, the local government unit will give him a reward and a decent job as per the city mayor.
