WATCH: Kathryn Bernardo cries as Daniel Padilla gives private message

MANILA - Kathryn Bernardo became emotional when her leading man Daniel Padilla gives his speech during the celebration of the box-office success of their movie 'She's Dating the Gangster' which gathers in a total of 260 million pesos.

ABS-CBN executives especially the president/CEO Charo Santos-Concio and Star Cinema head Malou Santos as well as the movie director Cathy Garcia-Molina attended the party last Thursday night, August 7, 2014.

The film was in theaters since July 16, 2014, which now has earned P260 million.

Once the casts and teams who contributed on the film making finished, the teen king and queen step on the stage to give their speech to thank all the supporters and the persons who exerted efforts in producing this box-office movie.

DJ was then asked to give Kathryn a personal message but he said that it is "awkward" at first and get off the stage with his leading lady.

Afterwards, Kathryn and Daniel went back on stage. The second time around, the teen star actor granted the request about revealing his private message for Kathryn.

The 19-year-old actor was trying to keep the atmosphere light by joking around but then his onscreen partner for 3 years just moved to tears while he goes along to send his message for her.

Being coupled with Bernardo is so grateful as per DJ. He is confident enough that they will continue to do more projects together with the same team behind their latest movie.

After the party, Daniel and Kathryn were interviewed and they expressed how joyful they are with the success of their third big-screen movie 'She's Dating the Gangster'.

Padilla already talked about that there will be an upcoming new TV series featuring Kathryn Bernardo and him. This will be rolling up after they come back from a break as they've been busy for the past few months taping and promoting the box-office hit Star Cinema film 'She's Dating the Gangster'.
