Philippines - The election for 2016 is still too far away for most Filipino people but there's been a lot of talking about who are the possible candidates for presidency and one of them is Senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.
According to Pulse Asia survey released last March, Bongbong is #6 for first choice presidential preference.

His mother, former first lady Imelda Marcos who is currently the 2nd District Representative of Ilocos Norte, wants him to run for president in 2016 election.
When Marcos Jr. was asked regarding this matter, he says that running fora higher position is still far from his mind.
He also points out that this is not the right time to think about it as there are 2 more years remaining on his term that needs a lot of attention and effort to get all the works done. He also believes that this presidential election falls in an individual interest and he wants to set aside that for now so that he can focus on his current public works.
Bongbong says:
There is no time or there is no space in our working lives—at least in mine—to be discussing that or to be planning that or to be campaigning"
But after all of the refusal, Marcos openly voiced out that he will obviously run for reelection as he's eligible to do it after his term expires in 2016. Then again, he refused to talk about running for higher office for now.
