A study conducted by Tommy John clothing has found out that almost half of Americans do not change their underwear regularly, and that they wear their underwear twice or more days in a row.

One of 13% of the respondents of the study claimed that they keep their underwear to them in the whole week without washing it.

The study also shows that men are most likely to do wearing their undergarments as long time as possible without prior hygiene to it.

In line with this, according to a study cited in Good Housekeeping, you can find 10,000 bacteria in a single undergarments even after wash, so what's more without washing it?

“Over time, underwear accumulates various types of problematic microorganisms and fungal germs that can increase your susceptibility to certain illnesses, like yeast infections and urinary tract infections, among others,” the Tommy John said.

It is important for everybody to mind and care for their self hygiene, because a good hygiene can give us a good health.

Practicing such unhealthy habit of not changinng underwear regularly can affect someone's health and make him/her prone to illness or some diseases.
