FIBA uploaded the image of a basketball player from Croatia last August 30, 2014, in Facebook which was bashed and discriminated by the Filipino netizens because of his facial defect.
This player is identified as Dario Saric from Sibenik, Croatia.
According to Grantland, Dario was born with a cleft lip. His father, Predrag, a talented basketball player in his own right, suited up for 15 years with Croatian club Sibenka, where he played alongside a young Drazen Petrovic in the ’80s.

These comments are like mocking Saric, imitating the way a person with cleft lip speaks.
Philadelphia 76ers (Sixers) took Dario Saric with the 12th overall pick after trading their initial pick at #10, Elfrid Payton, to the Orlando Magic.
That being said, this player is not ordinary. Aside from playing for Croatia in FIBA World Cup, he's also going to be playing for Sixers in NBA League.

However, there are still some Filipinos who condemn the act of discrimination of their fellow countrymen, asking them to give some "respect" to Dario Saric.
